I am fascinated with patterns: patterns of nature and of life. I like to combine my love of nature and the mountains of East TN with bits and pieces of other things I love such as music and old dictionary pages and bird images. My art involves many layers that represent layers of meaning to me and to the viewer.
I think art should be fun, beautiful, and it should touch the viewer’s soul in some way. The best compliment I am paid is when people say they see something different every time they look at my artworks.
